What is corrugated plastic?
Corrugated plastic is a lightweight, durable material used for various applications such as signs, floor protection, and wall guards. It can be cut using a sharp utility knife and combined with a solvent-based adhesive.
How do I install Plasti Shield®?
Place corrugated plastic sheet on desired surface. Cut to length with utility knife. Seam multiple pieces together with Blue Tape or similar masking tape for larger areas. Do not adhere tape directly to floors.
What type of tape should be used for wall and window protection?
Blue painters tape is primarily the best option to secure Plasti Shield against walls and windows. Use a clean release tape to ensure residue isn’t left behind and paint removal doesn’t occur.
Is there a flame retardant version?
Yes, if you’re working on a jobsite that requires flame retardant materials, our Plasti Shield FR option is tested and certified to meet NFPA-701 standards.
