How to install Quick Shield
Peel back edge of Quick Shield™ and begin to unroll. Press down edge at beginning of area to be covered so Quick Shield™ adheres. Continue rolling onto carpet, applying pressure and smoothing down the film while doing so. Carefully cut end with a sharp edge. When finished, fold edge of the film back against the roll to use at a later time.
How long can Quick Shield be left on carpet?
Quick Shield should not be left on carpeted surface for more than 30 days. Carpet film is recommended for synthetic carpets only. Apply only to dry carpets, and do not used under damp conditions. Always test Quick Shield™ on a small portion of carpet that is in a non-exposed area. 72 hour test required for use over adhesive installations.
Can I use Quick Shield on my wood floor?
No, Quick Shield was designed exclusively for carpet. We would recommend Multi-Surface Protection film for factory finished hardwood floors.
