Alpha Shield temporary floor protection sheets provide ultra heavy duty floor protection during construction. Sheets measure 48” x 96” and are designed with support pockets. This unique design creates high-compression and impact resistant protection, spreading the load of heavy objects and machinery across the entire floor surface. The textured face promotes grip, reducing the risk of accidents.
These reusable floor protection sheets resist warping, even when exposed to direct sunlight or external environments. Alpha Shield is lightweight, yet durable and easy to install on the jobsite. Sheets lay down fast and flat and are seamed together using Surface Shields PE tape. Temporary floor protection sheets can be used to protect all types of flooring and walls. How do I install Alpha Shield?
For floor applications, simply lay the floor protection sheets side by side on the floor and seam together with a strong tape like our PE Tape. Alpha Shield is also lightweight enough to use for vertical applications. Place the sheet against the wall and secure in place with residue free tape. We suggest testing any tape you use in an inconspicuous place before installing.
Is there an FR version?
Yes, if you’re working at a healthcare facility, lab, data center or other jobsite that requires flame retardant materials, our Alpha Shield FR option is tested and certified to meet UL-94 standards.
